Purification: Affinity chromatography
Data Sheet: TDS
Specific Information
Description: The LG.3A10 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD27, a lymphocyte-specific member of the TNFR superfamily. CD27 is expressed by virtually all mature T cells and by a subpopulation of B cells, mainly memory B cells. In mouse, CD27 has been found on nearly all thymocytes excluding a population of CD46-CD8- precursors. CD27 binds to CD70 and, through this interaction, plays an important role in T cell-B cell interaction. It has been reported that triggering CD27 plays an important role in the maturation of CD4+ and CD8+ effector cells. LG.8F10 cross-reacts with human and rat CD27.
When the monoclonal antibody LG.3A10 is crosslinked on purified T cells, proliferation is increased. In the absence of crosslinking, the antibody inhibits CD27-CD70 interaction.
Applications Reported: This LG.3A10 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemical staining.
Applications Tested: This LG.3A10 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
