Formulation: PBS with 0.09% sodium azide; pH 7.2
Purification: Affinity chromatography
Data Sheet: TDS
Specific Information
Description: The TLD-3A12 monoclonal antibody reacts with rat CD31, also known as platelet-endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1 (PECAM-1) and gpIIa. This 130-kDa surface protein is expressed highly by endothelial cells but at low levels on all leukocytes and platelets. Studies have demonstrated that CD38 binds to CD31. Homotypic interaction of CD31 is important in adhesion, cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, and signal transduction.
Applications Reported: This TLD-3A12 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: This TLD-3A12 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of rat splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
