Specific Information

Description: The monoclonal antibody AT130-2 reacts with mouse CD32b, also known as Fc-gamma receptor IIb. CD32b is the only inhibitory member of the Fc-gamma receptor family. Immune complex engagement of CD32b results in the phosphorylation of its intracellular ITIM motif. This engagement serves to attenuate B cell receptor (BCR) signaling and other activating signals, reduces proliferation, reduces antibody production, and may also deliver apoptotic signals. CD32b is the only Fc-gamma receptor expressed by B cells. CD32b is also expressed on monocytes, dendritic cells, neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils, as well as B cell progenitors and plasma cells.

AT130-2 has been reported to have agonist activity.

Applications Reported: This AT130-2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested: This AT130-2 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser.

Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
